SELAH - Playlist Commentary

Selah. A pause. We can really just pause, listen to these songs, and enjoy them. I’m thankful for music that is relatable, enjoyable, and refreshing! All of these songs and interludes remind us God is moving, He’s alive in us, and He gave His people some really cool song ideas to brighten our days.

This playlist was really fun for me to make because it kind of plays like an EP. Which is why I decided to make a tracklist graphic for it too. There are 2 interludes from albums I've listened to recently and all the songs weave together to tell a story. I feel like the interludes are the anchors of the playlist and dictate the song sounds that are heard before and after it.

In this time of quick music and singles, sometimes the purpose and the storytelling aspect of a body of work gets lost, so it's important to me to keep a central theme whenever I can. So I hope you guys get that too when you listen to this playlist or any one of the playlists I've come out within the past.
